Sherbet Lock Kickstarter

I was recently commissioned to create this pinup for the talented Michael Vincent Bramley's Sherbet Lock Kickstarter.

Not only was it a blast to work on this, but Michael's Sherbet Lock comic is really cool too (not always the case when you work on these things).  Fans of my King of the Unknown comic should check it out, as it has that same weird supernatural vibe to it along with a hearty dose of humor.  Also, Michael's art kicks ass on this comic and is worth checking out for that alone.

Little Nemo: Dream Another Dream

The fine folks at Locust Moon Comics are at it again, this time with Little Nemo: Dream Another Dream. They have a Kickstarter going on for the project right now that features some pretty mind blowing talent on the book (and surprisingly me...not sure how I managed to sneak on there, but I'm pretty stoked to be a part of this project). In the Gutters

Last week I did the linework for a strip on the webcomic "The Gutters".  Pretty fun stuff!  Check out the final colored version here.

The Confectioners

It's been a while since I posted anything on here, so I figured I would show a bit of what I've been up since my last post.

I was commissioned by writer Marta Tanrikulu to do the artwork (linework, colors, and lettering) for a short story idea she had for a comic about two feuding candy moguls called "The Confectioners".  It was a fun story and reminded me of something you would find in a Disney or Pixar film, so I tapped into my inner Disney on this one and had a blast with it.

Even though I was commissioned to create the artwork for this story, it currently has no home at a publisher (though there is some interest in it).  So if there's anyone out there reading this that has any interest in the story themselves, then please contact me and I will put you in touch with Marta.  I think it would be a wonderful addition to any type of anthology comics out there that focus on short stories, and its all-ages storytelling makes it accessible to a wide audience, so don't be a stranger and send me an e-mail if you're interested (at which point I can also send you the lettered version to read as well).
