Face Studies

Here's proof that I'm more than just that "guy who draws cartoony and draws that comic about fat Elvis with crude humor"!
The funny thing is I find working in this style to actually be easier to do than working in my go to "cartoony" style.  Go figure.

Once Upon A Time Machine

Sooo, after looking through some of my older blog posts, I can't believe I never properly plugged this comic that I was a part of.

"Once Upon a Time Machine" was published by Dark Horse Comics this past October (I was even at the NYCC to promote this thing back then), and I did the full artwork for the Tortoise and the Hare story in it (which was written by the great and talented Mr. David Tanh).  So if you're interested in picking up a copy you can get a pretty good deal off of Amazon right here.

Here is a sample page for ya to check out.  It has giant robots.

Random Art Post

Got a bunch of random pieces of art that I figured I should post up here since I haven't posted anything in a while.

Some test concept designs:
And a commission I did for fellow "Once Upon a Time Machine" anthologyer (yeah, I know that's totally not a word...shut up) Tom Alexander with his sister fighting alongside Daryl from the Walking Dead:

I'll post up some other art soon...maybe...

KISS Commission

I've been doing a round of commissions lately, and here is one I just finished up!  The commissions I get are usually pretty interesting and not something I would normally get to work on regularly, case in point, this KISS commission!  It was a ton of fun to work on though!

BTW, anyone interested in having me do a commission for them can contact me at marcusmuller@gmail.com , just make sure you but "Commissions" in the subject line so I don't spam it out.  I usually charge around $125 for a full color commission like this, but price varies depending on what you want and how much work is going to go into it (especially if there's lots of detail and lots of background work).
